The name Locust Grove traces its origins to 1950. Back then, my grandparents on my dad's side purchased the property, raising chickens and cows and growing cherry trees. Since then, the farm has been home to tobacco plants, peach, pear, and apple trees, chestnuts, corn, beans, tomatoes, cantaloupe, pumpkins, kiwis, and Christmas trees.
